Hospice services and care are provided by a team of professionals and volunteers specially trained and educated to care for those who are facing their terminal illness. Emphasis on aggressive pain and symptom control encourages the quality of life to be enhanced. Individualized goals and wishes are supported with the family and/or caregivers included in the plan of care. Bereavement services for one year following the death of the patient is made available through our social worker and volunteers. Hospice supports a large library of materials including videos, books, tapes, and tools available to the public.

Payment for services is accepted from Medicare, Medical Assistance, Third Party Insurers, Private Pay, VA, Long Term Care Insurance, and others. Services for those with a terminal illness are offered regardless of ability to pay due to the generosity and support of area communities through fundraising and donations to the program.
